Hey Guys,

What's up with the vigilink.com link hijacks? If I click on a link in a thread post here on CF, ie9 first shows "vigilink.com" in the new tab for a second, then ie9 goes on to the page I clicked the link for.

Is this just advertising stuff to keep CF up and running, or is it malware? Doesn't happen on any other forums I frequent.

The browser first goes to viglink.com...



...then goes on to the linked site.

I don't know if it's part of CF's code or a hijacker on my system.

Guess I should do some googling, but I thought I'd ask here first.

So, after a little googling:

Viglink is an affiliate ad tracking script. BOO, CF!

In Firefox, NoScript addon blocks it.
In IE9, turn on Tracking Protection in "Safety" dropdown.
