Haven't tried posting any pics today, but I've been on the forum off and on 3 or 4 times today, for 20-30 minutes at a time - no problems. You checked your pic size, right?

Here's a pic, if it works.

Download failed is not a valid error. You are uploading pictures, not downloading the, when you're attaching them.

As mentioned, check the file size. Upload failed error can result if you try to upload something larger than allowed.

The max you can upload per size is 1.9-2.86 megabytes.

I'm also able to attach without error.

I just went to the Testing forum and started the add attachment option. It showed me that the max. file size for all file extensions except .jpg is 1.91 MB. .jpg files may have a max. file size of 2.86 MB.

What was the extension on the file(s) you were trying to upload?

Jim;
The new pics, I took today worked. They were of a lower MB only 1.91, and had no problem. The first set of pics taken of the vent and window cranks for 65-66, were laid out on a blue micro fiber, so I took the new pics just on my gray car cover, and it seemed to make a difference. The first pics must have been too close to the MB limit and for some reason, they just would not upload. In the future I will double check on the MB size, before trying, don't know why just that, would seem to make a difference, but who knows. Thanks for your help again, I am sure I will be back here for more help someday. This section of the forum is very helpful, and I appreciate the info and help we can get here.
Thanks again.

Ps: my extentions are .jpg, should have worked up to 2.86, right?

You're welcome.

The max size for .jpg is what the forum shows when you get into the browse mode to look for the file(s) you want to upload. I don't know what the margin of error is in their statement.

I checked the attachment database and what you uploaded is jpeg at 1.72MB. The extension is JPG, but the files are JPEG. In addition, the max anyone has uploaded, as far as jpg/jpeg, is 2.0MB.
