Do not know if this has been addressed before but here goes. When I post pics on my Threads, they always come up as thumbnails, yet other members posted pics are at a larger scale. My question is, what am I doing wrong, and is there a way to post regular sized pics like everyone else, and if members see a thumbnail, do they know if it is clicked on, that they get a larger pic, or is that a stupid question.
As a Supporting member, you can post attachments within your post. This means that CF hosts your attachments. When you upload an attachment, it will appear as a thumbnail preview.
All non-Supporting users cannot post attachments. Instead, those people can only "hot-link" by having someone else host their pictures. When you hot-link images, they generally appear full-size (well, atleast up to the point of the automatic resizer that CF uses as a plugin).
You cannot override the thumbnail when you use the attachments, but you can manually also include a large copy of the file when you're attaching.

Then how does one manually include a large copy of the file?
When you upload an image via the Attachment Manager, under the Current Attachments will be the name of the Attachment you just uploaded. Right-click on the link and select Properties. Copy the address.
Then, paste the address between the [img][/img] tags. This will post the full-version (up to the point where the automatic image resizer will allow).
