How to post vid's

OK, when trying to post vid's (mpeg's) from photobucket I end up letting everyone see not only the vid but access to my whole photobucket account. How do I get the vid only to show?

This would be an issue with Photobucket, and while I'm not quite familiar with their service, I do not believe you can do what you are requesting. First, you can't embed a Photobucket video, you can only link to it. This will allow viewers to see your account. Second, I don't believe you can set only certain things as "private" in Photobucket.

You might try using YouTube instead. You can also embed the files here on CF for a more "seamless" experience to the viewer as they won't have to go to YouTube, or your YouTube account, to view the video.

You can create separate albums in Photobucket and set the albums to Public or Private. A Private album will allow you to link to and share individual content, but other people will need a password to see the rest of the content in the album.

The better option would be to post the video on Youtube and then use the YT tags to embed the video directly into your post. See HOWTO: Embed Youtube Videos for more information.
