Default Missing Security Token message

Over the last few days, I keep getting a message that says the site is missing a security token and to notify the admin when either posting or replying to a PM.

I did make a report on it, but it keeps happening....

*matter of fact, it just happened again as I tried to post this..

Someone please tell me how to fix this. It's gets REALLY annoying when after I'm done typing out some long instructional post only to hit reply and have it wiped out.

A few questions. What skin/theme are you using on CF when you see this error? Second, have you tried clearing your browser's cache? This error can have different meanings.

Using the C6 skin...same as I always have. I notice that it's only been since the recent Firefox update.

I did just clear the browser cache, so we'll see how that does....

Thanks for the suggestions.

Yeah, clearing the cache doesn't always work. The error is a bit general, so it's not always easy to address.

So you're saying the issue only occurs with a certain browser and version?

If you try to upload content that is far exceeding the restrictions set, that error message can result. While the system can adjust if the uploaded file is slightly bigger, if it's considerably larger than allowed, a Failed Upload message will occur and that's normal.

As I mentioned, the error is a bit of a general error and can be caused by several, and different, things.
