How come I get the message "upload of file failed" when trying to up load pics? Ive tried numerous times,say 20 and only one picture went through. Im only trying to upload on at a time thinking numerous pics was causing the trouble.:wil ly:
Also my signature isnt showing up on any of my posts but will show up at the base of PMs and on my profile page.

You must select the option to have your signature appear with any post you make. It's not automatic. Also, moderators have asked that you include your signature with your post a maximum of once per thread.
Yea, I read that I seem to be under all those guidelines. Im trying to post pics in my garage and in my albums. I had success the last time i uploaded. but not now. The signature doesnt even show up once per thread.

Are you saying you selected the option to show the sig when you posted and it didn't show up? Post a link to a post of yours where you told it to show the sig and it didn't show up.
When you reply to a thread, you need to manually enable the "Show Signature" option that is given underneath the box you type in your reply message. This is because, CF by default, removed that feature from being automatic (assumingly to cut down on overuse). It does not apply to the PM as the PM uses different templates (which the templates is where this change was made).
As far as the error when trying to upload images, I'm guessing the file size you are trying to upload is beyond the restrictions. If the images are too big in file size, then you will receive an error of a failed upload.

Maximum File Size per Picture 146.5 KB
Maximum Picture Dimensions 800 by 600 Pixels
While the system can do some resizing if beyond those limitations, if it's significantly over it will error out with the failed upload error message that you speak of.
