Can we lose the "sign in securely by your favorite IM client..." deal?

Sorry, but neither AIM, nor Yahoo, nor Facebook are "secure" ways to login to the site contrary to what the banner at the top seems to suggest.

There are reasons why there are so many third party encryption apps and plugins out there for these protocols.
