How do I get the "friend" thing to work?

Title says it. I tried w/ negative results to accept friendship requests. Senders must think I'm a jerk, for not responding.

Specifically, try this:


Make sure you place a checkmark in the Friend's Avatar section - then press Save Changes. Otherwise, if you miss this, and just press Save Changes, nothing will change but you aren't informed that you didn't make any changes on the page. In a way, it can easily fool the user.
