Default transparency background on avatar

see my new avatar screw hope change. i have messed with the new corel paint and the transparency background tool, read the help etc. there is no place to "accept" the transparancy stuff do you have to crop it after the tool or past special or what,

I can't help with the specific program as I don't use it, but I use The Gimp - a free photo editing utility that can easily do as you requested. Here's the gif with transparency, if you want it.

thanks man, search is your friend. in the program you export the image as a gif and check the boxes make transparant the following color, i picked white.
