Default Is everyone having performance issues with the forum?

it takes 20 to 30 seconds to load any page I click on. Also just send a PM and it took 2 minutes for it to send the PM (no attahcments, just text)

Just wanted to see anyone else was having this issue.

It has been a little slower for me the past couple of weeks, but still takes only 8-10 seconds to load most any page in the forum.

I am running Firefox, with Adblockerplus, at 10 Mbps download speed. In addition, I don't have a facebook logon, which seems to slow things a little for those that do.

Yes, I am having serious performance issues. Like you said, loading a page is lengthy - at least 20 seconds. Also, I have a problem that after viewing a post, I used to be able to click "1" time on the back arrow of the browser to go back 1 screen. Now I have to click "2' times and must be careful you get out of the forum.

Are there browser settings that could have been changed via some of the wonderful Microsoft security updates that come along??

The 2-clicks to browse back is due to the facebook plugin that is installed on this forum. It's a known issue and has been stated the issue is being addressed, but there has been no time frame, yet.

What browser are you using?

Firefox is faster than IE and it's even faster if you've got AdBlockerPlus add-on.

Get a friend to help you download & use Firefox. Also get the friend to get AdBlockerPlus as an add-on.

I've got a shortcut to the forum on my desktop and it takes about 8-10, sometimes 12 seconds after I double-click that icon before I have the full page of thread titles on the monitor screen.
