Default Problems with time I last visited

Every time I log on, it says that I last visited yesterday at 1:30pm, so messages that were made since my last visit, that were before 1:30pm are not shown as new.

It doesn't matter what time I last logged on, the site is stuck thinking its 1:30 pm the day before. Even on 2 other computers.

You might try using the red line menu for "Quick Links", then click on "Mark Forums Read" each time before you logoff or close your browser. Works for me.

I did that, then when I came back on at noon, all was well, however when I logged on just now, it says 'last visited: today at 1:30pm', again.

You should not need to click on the Mark All Forums Read link. The software keeps tabs on each account to know when the last activity took place. When the cookie timeout, as defined by the software, takes affect, your last login/visit time will be the last time the forum seen activity on your account.

Your account currently shows you last visited Today 07:50 PM ET. Given your last post was made at 7:46 PM ET, so far, this appears about correct. I can only assume you browsed around 4 minutes after your last post.

If, tomorrow, you visit and the last visit shows you again at 12:30 PM ET despite you wasn't around that time, then I can only guess that you might have some sort of application that is loading something on the forum to trigger your account as active at that time. I've never seen or heard of this type of issue before that was caused by the system.

so, I was last on around 10am, and it shows my last visit as today at 130pm again.

Very frustrating, since I do most of my business here.

I don't mean to state the obvious, but are you sure you have no application or computer that is coming around 1:30PM to the website? I know that exact time, each time, is unlikely unless it's some automation.

As I've said, I've never heard or seen such an issue before. That doesn't mean it's not a valid or legit issue.

I'm positive. just my desktop and iphone, and occassionally a laptop, but I rarely use it anymore.

seems to only happen when I pass 1:30. really wierd.
