To answer this, this is not possible with the YouTube tag as the YouTube tag is specifically coded for YouTube.
Embedding video requires HTML coding, and since HTML tags are turned off on any secure forum software (they are a security issue), you need to have defined BB tags to act as a replacement for the HTML.
I believe this was brought up before and the conclusion was that it was not easily accomplished due to the variables.

Anyone know why the videos are not showing up... its just a white box when I try to embed it? I know how to do it because I have done it before and the video is allowed to be embedded so...

I fixed your recent video as posted here:

When you post a YouTube video clip, you only need to copy/paste the end of the URL, not the full code that you find in the Embed section. This is because Corvette Forum has a custom script that converts all of that for you into HTML - since HTML is disabled to users from posting and parsing.
In your fuel pump example, the part of the URL you needed to copy/paste was this:
M0w-vd7egjY
Simply place the above inside a set of [yt][/yt] tag and the forum software will do the rest.

When you look at a YouTube link, you will see a unique string after the "v=". You need to copy and paste that string inside a set of [yt][/yt] tags.
For example, per your previously posted link:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dVXHO...layer_embedded
Copy and paste the dVXHOldtEuY string inside a set of [yt][/yt] tags.
Which will then do:

Not currently an option. The YT tag here on CF is specific to YouTube and not interchangeable for other services. And because HTML is disabled from parsing on just about any forum (for security to other users), there currently is no option to embed it.

It certainly would be a help for those who seem to have problems or are unfamiliar with linking to YouTube vids.
