Well, since it's 5am, and I can't sleep and many people can't quite seem to figure out how to embed a YT video, I've decided to write a brief tutorial (with pictures, for those with short attention spans) to try and make this as easy as possible for all to understand.

Don't worry, it's not rocket science.

First, find the YT video you'd like to embed and share with the wonderful world of the Corvetteforum. As you see below, we have a nifty YT video for all of the world to view and enjoy:






Next: We need to figure out what to do as far as embedding it into a nifty post so you have to look at the URL to the image:





But wait! You don't want to post the entire URL, you want to chose everything that follows after the http://www.youtube.com/watch?v= portion of the URL. In this case, it would be:







So whatever does one do with this information you ask? Well create a thread like normal (if you don't know how do this, there may be no hope for you) but learn the nifty forum code to embed such a fantastical video:







Notice that the specific video portion is surrounded by:



and



So the final product looks like this:







So, once you get the code right, click "Submit New Thread" and your post should look something like this:







Hopefully this solves your former ignorance on how to properly embed your YT videos and saves your fellow members from having to click on links in a post which makes the baby Jesus cry.

Please, please please...can you make a "how to resize pics" thread? I'm getting so annoyed with folks that post pics that are too large...forcing me to scroll the screen over to read posts.

It doesn't have anything to do with me being nice. It has to do with doing a good HOW TO thread for the Help Section. If you are serious, you would not brag about doing a real one "sober" (PUI is not appropriate) and you would not use a CFOT old joke video as a serious helpful document.
