I use this method which I think is very simple...
1. Go to :
http://photobucket.com/ and join...it's free
2. Upload a picture or more from your hard disk
3. Once you have your pictures stored on Photobucket you need to select the " edit" button (if unable to do this, sign in with your password and then "Edit" will be available)
4. Next within edit select reduce and click on the size reduction you want...if too large, reduce it more
5. Finally select/copy the IMG line (the bottom of the 3 choices under your picture. You'll see a specific address something like this that you paste in your signature or text of CF posts you make...
"IMGhttp://img.photobucket.com/albums/v346/zrwon/Dougsbricks.jpg[IMG"
This picture is what results. The file size of this picture is 457x629-85 K to give you an idea of what the size of your picture will be when apearing in the posted text
