Default rear deck lid

could someone let me know if it is complicated to remove the decklid above the rear bumper

This section is for questions on the use of the forum. Your question is best directed to one of the "General" Sections based on what year model your Corvette is. I didn't see what vette you own or I would have moved this question there for you.

I wanted to chime in, just in case I don't run across your request if you relocate it. I have removed a C4 deck from a convertible (above bumper, over gas tank). It was a pain! But it is definitely doable and I think it was easier than doing the massive repair that I would have otherwise. I only chipped a couple places where I got into a hurry - take your time! It is glued / epoxied down really well. I was using long screwdrivers, flat bars, and small wedges. Overall, it worked and I only had minimal places to grind and repair.
