I have resized several pictures in photobucket to make them reasonable to post on the forum. Some of them post up in the resized x by x but some do not. Can you help?

Provide the link and I will see what you are talking about.

Typically, the small size on such gallery software has a "thumbnail" and a "regular" version of your pic. Right mouse clicking on the pick and looking at the properties may reveal a "thumbnail" identification..

Typically when you upload, the receiving software creates the thumbnail. On the forum, it creates it in a different subdirectory as show above.

Some will add a "_th" to the filename to show it as the thumbnail.

You can get fancy and use some code to use the thumbnail in your post that when clicked, will show the bigger one:

All it takes is skill, a large budget, a team of IT people, large servers...

Really, just a little help with a head start and the testing section and you'll be doing it in no time!

There are a couple on this page http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show...1486557&page=2 that are less than 800x600 on photobucket but blew up when I posted them to the forum page.

P.S. My skill level is moderate, my budget can fit in my pocket, my IT team quit (something about food costing money), and the only server I have is the girl behind the counter at Burger King.

Hope she's good lookin'!

Photobucket puts a th_ in front of your file to make the thumbnail:

(Click on pic to enlarge)

Reducing the pic to 640x480 before uploading can help also.
