Default New Regional Forum proposal - MidEast?

What do you think of creating a new Regional Forum by extracting Pennsylvania, Maryland, Delaware, Virginia, West Virginia, New Jersey and North Carolina from their present locations into a new MidEast Region? This would divide the East into 3 regions of 7 or 8 states each instead of the existing two Monster regions we have now.

Do you think this would make regional browsing easier?

Posted in Southeast as well.

Keep Jersey in the Northeast section, that would be my suggestion. The NY/NJ/CT crew do alot of events together.

When I saw the title of the thread I thought about another part of the world.
Maybe something like Mid-Atlantic would be more descriptive.

From a Jersey boy

Leave us here in the Tri State!

I live 15 minutes from the city and do lots of events with the NY/CT crew.

Go back to Md. and if you want a suggestion make Md. part of the S/E or MidEast!

Leave Jersey in the NE section, we keep the NY's sane. We're part of the TRI State region according to every news cast on every major network in the US. Plus most other state's either don't want us, or understand us, and we tend not to marry our siblings Come on , do you really want me posting some of my storeis in another section. And in typical Jersey fashion, I'll sue you if you do.

The tristate tried to secede before from the NE in to its own region, doubt this will happen, since it has been tried before.

I've blown my car up twice in new jersey this year, therefore it must remain as part of the northeast

This has been debated forever, it won't happen. We've been trying to get a New England section for years now.

I'd agree with a PA, MD, VA, WV, NC, DE, and possibly OH. Not that I don't care what New Englander's are doing, but it's just too far to take one of my current vettes.

Pa is just so wide, east to west, that dealing with NY, CT, NJ, and the rest of New England is a waste. So yea, I'm in favor of it.

I agree with the suggestion. There's A LOT of topics posted catering to ny/nj/ct in this section. I don't mind at all but I think a separate section for pa/de/wva/dc etc... would work.

Thanks Frank. I actually tried to post it there initially yesterday morning, but for some reason I couldn't.

Thanks for your inputs friends. I'm pretty sure the nothing will change, I was just curious to see how many agreed that having two regions comprising half the country was a bit cumbersome.

Also, I really had neither the power nor the inclination to relocate New Jersey. But I can appreciate your passion

I know everyone has been saying that it'll never happen, but is there a reason? If it's because they don't want to make every change suggested, I understand, but it would be nice to break it down. It would make it easier to find shows in my area.
