Repeated receiving of vendor email

I keep receiving the posting below, several times a week. The vendor is not sending them, the forum is. I once contacted the vendor and he got mad and said he wasn't sending the emails. So, time for a Moderator to take action and stop the pointless emailings.

This looks like you have subscribed to that thread, therefore every response that is made to that thread is e-mailed to you.

To check that, click on your UserCP on the red menu line. Your first page may show you as being subscribed to that or any other thread.

If it is there, simply delete it from your subscription list.

It turns out that I am not subscribed to that thread. I do not receive added messages whenever they appear in the thread; instead, I receive the same comment over and over and over again. My guess is that this is some sort of problem with the Forum software. I hope you can figure it out.
