Got your PM

Looking at your post it looks like the place where your image is, is secure area somehow

http://www.msnusers.com/fhkobh59atkr...e-22%20002.jpg

If I type just that address, I should be able to see the image, I cant so it must be the location, May want to try a different place for hosting

Let me know if you have more questions.

Edit*

I just tried it from the msn site, they are secure there and dont let you remotely link/show them

Here is the one from your corvette photos on cf.

Edit 2*
Since you are a MSN user, you may want to create a page on the spaces.msn.com

I think that allows you to remote link

Here is my sample although I dont use it for that, I use my normal website for hosting my images.

If you right click on the image and goto the properties of the image, on this page http://www.dumpanimage.com/image.php?i=ETcRZerY6K

You will see that the image location is really

"http://www.dumpanimage.com/up/f/e2vg3HBjfFiL/20051007/ETcRZerY6K.jpg" (remove quotes)

You want to use that,

Hope it helps

Mike, I have been trying to upload to CF photo gallery and the pictures are not showing up. I am not doing anything any different than I have done in the past and they don't show up. I have been resizing them to 600 by 450 also and they are being uploaded as jpeg files. Trying to upload them to C6 Z06 pictures.

????????

Mike, that is my old car. The new pictures are of my machine silver Z06. None of them are showing up.

Hmm, you may want to PM a mod that is responsible for approving the pics once you upload them. Maybe there is a limit on the amount you can have up there??

The corvette forum picture hosting is totally different topic than what I was trying to explain.

I would like to see pics of your new one

Mike

Edit * You may want to send an email to troy@corvetteforum.com, looking back, I can see he was the one who approved photos

The forum photo galleries are in a state of flux. It may be best to try another host, like photobucket.com, in the interim period.

do you think that is the problem? I emailed Troy 4 days ago to ask him about it but received no response. I can upload attachments with no problems.

I am pretty sure the overall upgrade must happen, then the photo gallery upgrade will happen, then the photo's will again be approved and available.

In the meantime, I would consider other options. I have no feedback on how long any of that will take.
