I haven't seen his work but there is an add in motorcycle ad mag Cycle Focus, for a place in Addison called "The Paint Spot, Kustom Painting and Graphics" and it lists airbrushing for Motorcycles and cars and auto body work.
Vince is the name of the guy listed. The phone is 630 543 7111.

I'll try to get a chance to see if I can checkit out this coming week, it's at 904 Westwood in Addison right down the street from me.

I'll have to try & get the lowdown on this airbrush painter who works in conjunction with Century Auto Body in Roselle. If you P.M. me your #, I get in touch with my buddy who works there.

I have seen a C6 logo airbrushed on the side pillars of a new coupe by this painter.

Hope you had a Merry Christmas.

Ron

P.S. "Stilcrazee" how are you doing? It's not too late to give me your convert as a X-Mas present.

Well since Moses can't come to the mountain, I guess, the mountain will have to come to Moses.

Here you go.

The name of the airbrush artist is:

Rich Keylard out of Bartlett, IL.
(cell) 630-675-7199

He's done the airbrush work on Central Auto Body's (owners) Hummer.
(a "World of Wheels" entry)

Gary -

If you get it done, be sure to post some pics. I'm interested in doing some engine art too! I was talking with Noel at Autobuffs and he mentioned that Mag Red was difficult to work with. Let me know how this guy's quality is and whether he thinks he could work with something like Mag Red.

Thanks!

Brad,
If you're interested this guy is about 1.5 blocks N of North Avenue on Westwood in Addison. Westwood is the stoplight where McDonald's is just west of Sym's/Portillo's. It appears most of his brushing is on motorcycles and he had a bunch of pics of bikes he had done as well as having 9-12 gas tanks as samples. Designs from flames to skulls and crossbones.

Thanks all. I am waiting for my cover. This all one part. So when it gets in it will have to be cut to fit around the wastegates then off to get some design. I will keep you updated

That looks COOL! I don't think that's the typical carbon fiber cover, is it? I don't remember the manifold design like that. Regardless, I hope it turns out great.

Thanks Brad,
Yes it's a new one from WCC. It came in yesterday. So I ran it down to FLP. Some cutting will be required but not much at all. Dan will get it to fit then I will take it down to get painted. Still thinking about the design. I know it will have race flags with the BLACK being CF. It looked really good when we test fitted it yesterday. Only thing is my polished fuel rails are now covered but so is those ugly coil packs
