A CI-6 Car Show Winner
(Chicago Crew) Bloomington Gold Cookout, Sign Up Here
Join me for a cookout immediately following the Bloomington Gold Road Tour on Saturday, June 26th. (Beginning at approximately 7:00pm) It will be at my home, located 8 blocks North of Route 64 on Route 25 (809 N. Fifth Avenue, St. Charles). There will be Ribeye steaks, brats, an assortment of salads, baked beans, corn on the cob, and beer. I am figuring the cost of the food at $12.00/person, and I will have a donation can for the beer. There is not enough time for you to send me money, so please just figure on paying at the cookout. I must limit the attendance to Chicago Crew people and friends, there is no way I could handle hundreds of people. Overflow parking will be available across the street from my place at 820 N. 5th Ave. Please sign up by e-mail (steveriebe@earthlink.net) or reply to this thread no later then June 23rd (Wednesday) so I have time to go shopping. I have quite a few chairs but you may want to bring one just in case!

Very nice of you to put this together. The wife and I will try to make it. We will be @ Bloomington during the day on Friday. Will head over to Capone's hideawy for dinner. Did that last year and had a great time. I would love to drive back out there on Sat. Don't know if I will be doing the cruise though. What time should we come over? Again THANKS for the offer.

Ah, yes the Hideaway! I've eaten there many times, great food! Definately could save you a few bucks having steak at my place that night though The road tour assembles at 5:00 pm, departs at 6:00pm, I would guess it's over in an hour, give or take a few minutes. I would suggest coming at 7:00 or so. I won't put you down until I get a response that this is what you want to do. Hope to see you! I'm sure a lot more people will be signing up soon.

RWH, cool! there will be plenty of food, hope you can make it! I just decided last night to hire a chef to do the cooking, a good friend of our family. It should give me a lot more time to enjoy the company. DaveAnd, sure I remember you, we talked for a while about the area cruise nights, etc. Glad you can make it!

Big Fish, wife and I will be at BG Sat. and plan on the cruise. Not member of Chicago crew, but if OK w/wife would like to stop by and enjoy the BBQ. I'm in Dunlap Il and spending the nite in Geneva so can atten BG again Sun.

I've got you down for 2 Wayne! Yes, the car finally dried out, the drive home didn't help either, but at least all our clothes got washed Had a glass guy come and redo the rear window seal after I removed the glass and cleaned everything up. Next year should be a lot drier! I'm glad you can make it, I'll be looking forward to seeing you both!
