lets Ride! fall color run.
5th. annual Ride to Holy Hill (1 hour north of Milwaukee) this sunday oct 12. Last year we had 22 vettes out enjoying some great fall colors and some great Wisconsin back roads :yesnod: This an all day event running about 300 miles, all at the legal limit :blueangel: so before the white stuff starts falling make sure you get all the carbon burned out your ride before she goes to bed. I'm only like 10 miles from Holy Hill...need details of when you'll be passing thru and your route so I can join in (weater permitting).

We should be leaving Mundelein around 8:15 be in Milwaukee by 9 for a breakfast stop so Holy hill around 10:30~ 10:45 if you want Email your cell# and we will give a shout. :party:

Thought this might be a thread about the Fall Color Run in La Crosse on 10/11. Suburbabn Corvette of Minneapolis is hosting the annual event. Last year we had 250+ cars.................

Great idea. I've done before.
If you have not been to Holy Hill the view and ride is worth it.

As I suggested in my email, if you're pitstopping in Milwaukee, it might be a good idea to setup a specific place to meet @ 9am if some of the other Wisconsinites wanna join in...Matt? Dennis? Dale? Dave?

If Craig from HP has no objections to my (emailed) plan....the cruise from Mundelein will go up and around Milwaukee, with a breakfast stop at the Country Kitchen on hwy Q in Germantown, Wi...from there, it's up to Horicon marsh and down to and around Holy Hill.
If any SE WI people want to meet up and join in, I expect the HP caravan will arrive at the restaurant in Germantown around 9:40 or so.
The fall colors are really showing nicely around here, and the weather looks to be outstanding for Sunday....perfect time to get out and spend a day driving our beautiful cars!! :steering: :steering: :steering:
