I'll say this about clubs... I never wanted to join one, but found I was going to many events with the "guys"... I found weekly cruise nights to be same old cars, same old lies, same old... Joined a club as my wife wanted to get involved and meet other couples. To date it has been a pleasant experience, we do more things together, more dinners, more drives, more friends. It has had it it's share of bumps, but I'm not the type easily upset or frazzled. It's certainly not for everyone, but for us it's been fun. I especially enjoy my wife's added interest in the car and the usual question, where we going next!

Jeff, you just kind of summed up what I was looking for. Any group is only as good as it's members make it. No one size fits all. Left a second message on the Headwaters Corvette Club website, asking if the club was still active. Left my phone number. Still have not heard back from anyone. We'll see what the summer brings. Thanks again for sharing your experiences.
