I'm Looking for a Corvette Mechanic in Chicagoland
Hey there !
I'm looking for a local guy/shop that will lower my 2022 C8 stock suspension , using the wrenches from Paragon or Chevy . Im getting new wheels soon ( 20 and 21"s ) and I'm just looking to lower my car an inch , so I don't think I'll go with full spring replacement yet . Plus I'll need an alignment .
I'd do the lowering myself but my garage sucks for working on cars . Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated !
Southwest or Western Suburbs ?
Thanks !
Matt ( Lemont IL )

Call Libertyvile Chevy and ask for Kevin Paddock, he will do the work himself and he s a real pro and heads up that dealership's high performance work. When I have to tweak something on my 2019 C7 ZR1 he is the guy I reach out too for a reason, he's the best when it comes to thing like this on new Vettes.

I’ve been more than happy with these guys with my car! On past visits, I’ve seen the shop working on everything from C1’s thru C8’s and all kinds of muscle cars! They’ve even provided me with complementary pick up and delivery for my car

I'd advise you stick with a GM tech that has been trained on the C8 to perform the work and the alignment over a "tech" that has had zero training on a brand new platform.
