Does anyone have any recommendations for a place in Metro Detroit area to have the battery replaced on a C7, outside of a dealership?

I am not opposed to having it done at the dealership but at the moment, the ones I have checked do not have available appointments to later in the week and ideally I would like to just get it taken care of before then.

My friend Kenny the Car Guy owns Kenny's Lakes Area Auto in Walled Lake. He's a racer and owns/preps/maintains many of our local Corvettes. Replacing a battery will not be a problem for them. Give them a call and tell them that Matt sent you.

Thanks for that! My local dealership called back and is able to get me in tomorrow morning to replace it so it looks like I will be all set.

If you are member of AAA they will bring you a battery and replace it at your home and/or side of the road at about $170. They have all the special tools, (battery removal tool, long neck extensions on socket wrenches and battery testing equipment) to do the job. Includes a 3 year warranty. AAA charged $150 plus tax which is fair and reasonable and they are done in about 45 mins.
