Re: This four letter word describes it all .... (ChasC5)
This should be interesting. I've had a 4x4 truck for the past few winters as a daily driver. Seems like we hardly got any snow those winters, so now the Vette is my daily driver. Based on that, it should snow in Illinois every freaking day!!!! If you see me in a ditch, help me out!!!

I just changed my wheels to the sawblades last night and am now ready to go for winter. Bring on the snow...well, as long as it's not more than 1/16 of an inch!

I may have to do the same thing. I want to get some driving in before I figure out where I'm going to store my Vette this winter.

If you really don't want to drive your Vette in the snow and salt, I can appreciate that. But I bought the Goodyear M+S runflats and drive mine all year 'round. If I'm really expecting snow, then I take the Taurus just because nothing is fun to drive in snow. But for the 90% of the time that the roads are good, I drive the Vette and know that if I get surprised, the Winter tires will get me through anything except a full blizzard. Life is too short to drive tin cars.
