Cruise to Brickyard, anyone ever done laps around it?
Does (when) Brickyard allow public to take laps? Would like to do a cruise to the Brickyard this coming year with our Corvette club......and would like to get us on the track. Has anyone ever done that?

I did one lap of the F1 road course there this year. A friend of mine bought 4 tickets to the F1 race and they sent him a voucher to drive the track. Hundreds of cars showed up and they sent us out single file with a speed limit of about 35 MPH. It was still fun. I don't know of any other times to drive the road course or oval for the public.

Our local club did a cruise to Indy last Spring (sorry, I didn't make it) and was planning on some laps. But the price was very high, the speed limit very low; so they skipped that part.
