Looks like my broken valve is being replaced with ones of a much larger size. In fact, it will sit on top of 427 cubic inches within a C5R block. Goal is 650+ hp at the crank :eek: Looks like we are also doing coilovers, big brakes, T1 bars, coolers, etc.

Thanks guys. Tony, you transposed a couple of numbers. Alan's car made 450 rwhp and rwt. Part of what we are doing to my car is to make the best One Lap of America car that we can make. I have a driver lined up, you might know him, he finished 3rd overall last year. :yesnod:

Jeff, brake package hasn't been chosen yet. All I know is that it will have 6 pistons. We are tubbing the rear too so we can put some 335/18s out back. I think we'll have the car and the driver necessary to win the One Lap, then we'll just need to have good luck so nothing breaks.

Wade, I wouldn't say DRM is sponsoring us, but we wouldn't be able to do this without them. Might as well work with DRM, its name is already on the car in small letters. ;)

The cool thing about this deal is that it is coming together as a partnership of myself, John B., his business Wardsports/Car-vette, and DRM. None of us could go it alone, too many $$$. I think we'll have the best driver in the event with John behind the wheel and a solid competitive car. A little luck and maybe we'll put a Vette in the winner's circle for the first time in the One Lap's existence.
