If Hines Drive(Plymouth, MI) is ever not flooded its a nice cruise with very few traffic lights. But be careful the speed limit is 35 and cops are usually around. North Territorial is a good one too. If you make it out near Plymouth, PM me I am always down for a trip in the Vette. Enjoy.

There used to be a cruise every fall advertised here that went to Dexter and surrounding areas. Quite nice.
Does anyone recall if that still occurs?

Yes it still happens mid October and the last ride of the year. Last year it was cancelled do to rain! Below are a few links in the Great Lakes Region section. Monitor that section and you will find information in the future on the 2019 Fall Colors Tour!

Orion is dirt from Rochester over to near Dutton FYI.

Rochester Road up to Almont/Imlay is not a bad drive. Once you get past 36 mile it gets pretty nice up.

This is would be coming from west going east toward Wildcat Rd. On the corner of M-136 and Wildcat is the Dorsey house. Good food at reasonable prices. Since the map does not show how snaky the road is I will have to use the Vettes PVR to record and post it. Have to learn how to use it. That is after my new wheels and tire come in, in the next few weeks.
This is less than 10 miles from my house and a fun ride. Many people ride it on their Harleys as well. The Dorsey house has literally been around for 100 years or so and was renovated a few years back. Good place to stop for food and in the summer it is a very popular place.

Every summer our local group of vettes always do the following route, ending up at the Zukey lake Tavern for lunch on the deck overlooking the lake.

We start off cruising through W Huron River dr as soon as you exit at the Ann Arbor Exit off M14/23, its a sharp right
Cruise through the woods and along the river all the way to North Territorial. Make a left.
North Territorial to Hankerd - Turn Right
Hankerd turns into Glenbrook, then to Patterson Lake - Turn Right
Paterson lake to Dexter Pinkney - Turn Left
Dexter Pinkney to Main St - Turn Right
Main St to Girard - Turn Right
Then turn into parking lot for Zukey Lake. It's a 30.7 mile route, approx. 49 min.

I like driving west on M36 past Gregory then turn around and head east through Hell, Michigan. Mainly 55 MPH and lots of curvy roads. Watch for idiots on their bicycles.

Places visited a few times last year that were fun....

Hell for a beer or two.
Iargo springs- 200 foot cliff with springs at the bottom. Nice brisk drive averaging about 70mph on 2 lane roads off expressway.
Bakers to check out some nice cars, then a hot lap or two around the perimeter of Milford proving grounds.
Hines drive
Toledo- Tony Packo’s.
Luna pier, port Austin, new Baltimore for beaches.
Belle Isle, good photo op at Ren Cen, Hitsville, uniroyal tire off 94.
woodward on Friday or Saturday.
