Bloomington, IN Show, Oct. 5th
The flyer says "Classic Cars", but I called and all Corvettes are welcome. This is by donation only, and I would love to have a lot of vettes show up. Please support this show if you are near Bloomington. Even if you aren't near Bloomington, you're more than welcome to show up. I'm also thinking about getting a cruise together before the show, since festivities don't start until 3 PM. I'm looking at either Brown County State Park, or just some backroads cruises around the Bloomington area. Then we could all cruise into the show together. Please reply in this thread if you are interested and state whether you would prefer Brown County or backroads. Of course, we could always do both. ;) And if you aren't interested, feel free to throw this back to the top at any time. :D

Re: Bloomington, IN Show, Oct. 5th (Captain Morgan)
Here's what I'm thinking. We all meet up at a central point, maybe a McD's in Bloomington, and then go for a nice drive. This show is for charity, so if I don't win a trophy, I really don't care. We'll hit some backroads around the area, and then all cruise in together. If you want to seriously show your car and are afraid of getting bugs on it during the drive, that's fine, we'll pick a spot near the area and meet up so that you can drive in with us. Who's up for this?

Sounds like a great idea. I think that weekend is free. I don't know if I want to take my car into a show with a cracked nose, so I hope it is fixed my then. If not I am up for the cruise at least or hide in the back.

I'll put it in my calendar.
I should be able to make it.
E-mail if anything firms up beforehand!
I guess I'd better clean up my garage in case anyone wants to visit!

Jeremy,
I haven't heard anything from Matt (Wanderer), Brian (Savethewave), or Tom (Bad2Bone). I didn't have Brody's e-mail address nor Pewter Plastic's. Pass on the info to them, I'd love to have as many there as possible.
Glad you can make it, I still have no set details for a cruise, but we'll have fun. ;) Hope Jeff shows up too.

Avery,
Great idea and an even better cause (charity) for your event day, but not a good weekend for me to participate...Have other committments for that day already...
I'll be sure to try and catch up with ya'll the next time...
Thanks,
Tom  :seeya

The '58 isn't painted yet; the new engine runs just fine but the heater core is leaking now! ARGH! and the '00 is now giving me fits, too. I have no idea what my schedule is, so I won't commit, but I'll pencil it in.

Re: Bloomington, IN Show, Oct. 5th (Captain Morgan)
The show is this weekend. I haven't had very many say they can go, so it's looking like Aquaman and I may just join the NCCC Brown County cruise and try to get some of those guys to go over to the show. I'd like to get a lot of vettes to cruise in to the show together.
