Dad and I will be there as usual. Looking forward to seeing your 2015 Tim! I am dropping the Vette off at Jeff's the day after the tour for a nice treat. Won't have it back until the spring.

I'm planning on making this one. I hate I missed the SE Ohio one that was going on today, however since the Vette is still at the dealership getting 2 new rear hubs and oter stuff, it's probably a good thing I didn't risk it

It's supposed to be about a 2.5 hour cruise. This will be my first time in attendance so I'm only going by what is posted on their Web site.

the drive part (which leaves at 2pm) is around 2 to 2.5 hrs as Joe mentioned. There is a halfway stopping point.

What many do (that can't go the full 2.5 hours) is to break-off the route when needed, and go home from there. Its certainly not a requirement - nor even expected - for everyone to re-gather back at the shop. Past experience is that less than a third actually drive the entire route all the way to the end.

I attended this event for the first time yesterday and had a blast! I met some new Corvette enthusiasts, and had a great meal and beverage with them at BJ's after the event.

One more item crossed off "The Bucket List", but I'm sure I will return next year.

Thanks Mike for giving me the heads up about this - the Mrs and I greatly enjoyed it!

And to the blue ZR1 I pulled up alongside to at a stoplight waiting to turn onto an I-75 entrance ramp in my magnetic red C5 vert after getting some dinner after the road tour, thanks for opening up some space between you and the pickup that seemed determined to not allow me any space to merge in behind you. Once you blasted down the freeway entrance ramp I was able to show that pickup my taillights before my lane merged with yours. However I think you didn't need to try as hard as you did - I know I hit 80 before lifting off of the throttle and I could still hear you standing on it! The Mrs told me after you roared out of sight that I can't ever get one (ZR1) because she'd be afraid I'd either kill myself or both of us in it!

the official count is not finalized; but it's at least 235 Corvettes. Incredible !!!
