C & C Minneapolis
Went to the C&C in Chanhassen this morning. Huge turnout with at least 5 new C7s in attendance. It was a beautiful day for the gathering and possibly the most cars and people that I have yet seen at the automotorplex. I would guess 40+ corvettes, 30+ porsches, bunches of audis and bmws, and a huge variety of just about everything else you can think of. As usual, many of the garage/condo/mancave owners were there with their units open for display and welcoming everyone in. There were plenty of super exotics including a Lambo Aventador but the star of the gathering today was a spectacular blue carbon fiber Bugatti Veyron. It was truly stunning. I would definitely give my "left ZR1" in trade for the Veyron. Sorry for no pictures but perhaps someone else on the forum will post some pics. I was too busy enjoying the cars. Definitely the most fun "not a car show" in Minnesota.

Wish you had some pics, but sounds like a fun event. Wish there were C&Cs around this area.

Is just about everything allowed at this kind of stuff? I am on the hunt for my first vette, and I'm sure no one in this class of vehicles really cares but I have a modded and boosted Toyota Tacoma that gets a lot of attention when I go places. I live in Willmar a couple hours west. How does a guy get the invite/info on something like this?

Its open to all- the first Saturday of each month (not winter of course) but you want to arrive early if you are showing. I usually arrive at 7:15 (opens at 8 am till 12:00 I believe). I won't be at the August one as I'm going to the 20th annual all vette show at Mystic. I will be showing our modified C7 at that one.

Yeah I don't really have any interest in showing my pickup, even though it is nice. I just want to go out and see all of the cool cars. I need an excuse to get to Mystic. Where are the other ones at? Is it always at the same place?

The cars and coffee are always at AutoMotorPlex in Chanhassen.

If you go to Mystic, my wife and I will be showing our Acrtic White C7 with white rims-stop by and say hi. If you go to C&C in September I will show our C7 along with a yellow Ferrari Spider, so hope to meet you in person at either event.

I look forward to seeing that Z06 also- I guess they have a guest speaker also lined up for the event. No names given so it could be interesting or a dud!
Either way it looks like great weather for the Mystic event- I haven't missed a C&C forever so it is bitter sweet but like you I want to see the new Z06!

I brought my ZL1 and my friends brought their CTS-V's but we got there at 8am and had to park down the street. It was nice with a big turn out and there was a black C7 with yellow calipers and 360 Forged wheels (?) that was drop dead gorgeous.

Thanks. I played golf in the morning so I was in there a little later. I moved the ropes so that I could get some better pics. No one said anything so it worked out. Great to see all the nice vette there.
