Was out there Sat., to bad the rain appeared after lunch. Great time and awesome cars. Got to meet Debbie and see the BAMF, sweet. Looks like Sun. turned out good for ya's. The turn out of Vettes was much,much better than last year.

It is with a very heavy heart that we must inform everyone that as of June 30th Bult Field in Monee, IL has been sold to the Illinois Department of Transportation.
This government organization has no desire to allow us to host our events anymore, therefore we must cancel our October 11-12th, 2014 Chicago 1/2 Mile Shootout.
We want to sincerely thank all of our sponsors, participants and fans who made this event such a huge success in a very small period of time. You welcomed our staff to your city with open arms and we enjoyed meeting each and everyone of you.
We hope that all of you enjoyed the event as much as all of our staff did and that you got to really experience your cars the way you've always wanted.....as this has been our intention with these events since Day 1.
Please know that we are not giving up on the MidWest and that we are currently searching for a new home for this event.
Take care fellow MidWest GOFAST Family and we hope to have some great news for you in the future!

Illinois has purchased Bult Field, a general aviation airport in the footprint of the proposed South Suburban Airport, for $34 million.
That’s $32.5 million more than the state could have paid for the 288 acres about 10 years ago.
