My wife and I are going. We're leaving NW Illinois to run the IL/IA Caravan route down to the NCM on Thursday. Friday morning we have a Plant Tour, then we'll go by the NCM, then head toward Effingham.

Saturday morning we'll drive up to Champaign and spend the day at the show, and head home after the Road Tour. We'll be sitting on the corner of the square in the little town that you turn around in. I really enjoy watching all the cars coming and going.

I think it sucks that Mecum has pulled out, although I can see where it makes sense for them. It seems a bit unexpected, so there is probably an interesting story behind it. I hope this doesn't signal the beginning of the end for BG, as I've enjoyed the show for a long time.

Be on the lookout for us!

Steve and Darlene are a wonderful couple that live near St.Charles and threw and equally wonderful barbecue closing out Bloomington Gold Sundays.

You would remember him as "Big Fish" and I believe I first met YOU at one of these affairs!

Not sure if this is the right place for it, but Bentley Publishers will be there too. We'll have Karl Ludvigsen, Dave McLellan and Jerry Burton at our booth signing copies of their books.

Last C4 Corvette
The historic Last C4 is being inducted into the Bloomington Gold Great Hall on Friday, June 27th at 4:00 p.m. Help us celebrate by attending the Induction Ceremony or visiting the Great Hall during Bloomington Gold! From the tradition of earlier models, the Last C4 Corvette received Grand Sport flares and hash marks, ZR-1 wheels, specially embroidered emblems for the seats, windshield graphics and a unique “Last C4” emblem on each side. The car was also signed by nearly every plant employee and assembly line worker, in addition to GM dignitaries.

Styling Corvettes
This year marks the 50th Anniversary of the 1964 World’s Fair Corvette and the 1964 Bunkie Knudsen Styling Corvette, both on display at the Mid America Motorworks Booth at Bloomington Gold. Visit us at M103-M126 to see these rare Corvettes.

1964 World's Fair Styling Corvette
This fuel-injected coupe was transferred from the assembly line and modified by the Tech Center as Shop Order #10361. Special custom features include enlarged front grille, large side exhaust, dual sport side view mirrors, hood cut-out to accommodate the raised fuel injection and 15 coats of candy apple red lacquer paint with matching interior!

1964 Bunkie Knudsen Styling Corvette
This Styling Corvette sports a custom Cadillac Fire Frost Blue paint over a specially prepared body surface. The car also features a special hood design, custom large special cast grill, unique front bumper treatment, custom high back bucket seats with an all white leather trim and custom Cadillac carpeting, special toe board stainless polished grates, one-off door panels with power windows and power vent wings.

We will be there, staying at the Marriot.

Went last year to see the new C7 and decide how I wanted to option my car. Going again this year to check out the Z06 and put my order in as soon as it opens up.

Anyone know if race ramps will be there? Thinking about investing in those for basic work.

You don't have to wait until Bloomington Gold to get a good deal on Race Ramps. Reverse Logic offers a 10% store wide discount on any order over $200. The net price on RR-XT-2 ramps is $300.60 and the net price on RR-56-2 ramps is $205.20. Free shipping of course.

Until 30-Jun-2014 service ramps are eligible for a factory rebate offer for a free pair of wheel chocks.

Reverse Logic also has a large selection of custom extended length and extra tall Race Ramps in stock.
