Default Question for MI owners

Does anyone know if their car was shipped via rail or truck to MI? And what was approx. shipping time after production.
Thanks in advance.

I think all of them headed to MI from BG are by truck. Mine was. Mine was held up in quality control, so I can't help you on the actual transport time.

My car arrived at the dealer in the metro Detroit area just under a week after it came off the line.

Excellent!!! Mine will be delivered to Owosso. Was hoping for 10-14 days after production, and thought that was optimistic. Thanks for the info.

Would rather have it held up in quality control and fixed, than have it just pushed off the line and onto a truck. That was industry practice years ago. What a change in quality GM has gone through. Off topic but just bought my wife a 2014 Impala. What a nice car!! Kudos GM!!

My build week was 3/17 to 3/21. The next Monday 3/24 my car was sitting at Les Stanford in Dearborn MI.

Dealership personel advise me that all of their Corvettes come by truck, and that they order so many Corvettes that every delivery involves a truck carrying a full load of cars straight to their dealership. No delays to stop and drop off cars at other dealerships.
