We are excited to be a part of the changes and I am looking forward to the new location. The new owner is deeply committed to making this a "must do" event for all of us, and he really is a hard core enthusiast who has a deep passion for Corvettes and Corvette people.

We will have a small display right next to Al Knoch Interiors, spot #C114. We'll be spreading the word about the upcoming Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals show in November, along with our Corvette Central Triple Diamond display and competition, which is one of the fastest growing and most popular parts of our show. We will be accepting apps for our show and photographing cars for our upcoming MCACN magazine.

I will also have a wide variety of Original Corvette Ads, literature, promotional models and model kits along with some 1/64 scale die cast Corvettes, just to keep things interesting.

We will have a cooler full of cold water waiting for our friends, new and old, so stop by and say Hello.

Hi all. Wife and I are coming down for the day Saturday and then heading home on Sunday. I did not pre-register but are we able to take advantage of the parking area providing I have the pass? I will need to purchase daily tickets upon arrival. What lot is the CF parking? Thanks and look forward to meeting some of you.

For those Corvettes that are interested, a group from two area corvette clubs are meeting for breakfast Thursday morning at 9 am in Troy, Illinois at Cracker Barrel. We plan leave at 10 am to caravan together thru Springfield on our way to Bloomington Gold. All are welcome, the more corvettes the better!!! Chris Covinsky 1-314-606-9150

Check out the size of the height marking on this bridge. I hope the driver was in the process of slowing down and just ran out of road. How the heck could you miss that sign?

Default Leaving Friday around 12:30pm for Champaign

My wife and I are leaving from the Peoria area around 12:30pm Friday afternoon for Champaign. Anyone going to be close to caravan down?

Also for those that are traveling I-74 to I-155 (Morton Interchange), there is some roadwork as they are in a MAJOR project. Was through there a week ago and think the roads are good....just a lot of merging traffic. Pay attention to the speed limits too. A state trooper friend of mine said they have been cracking down in these areas, especially around the Morton interchange.

Let me know if there is anyone in / around the area that is heading down about that time......

Looking forward to Bloomington Gold!
