...so I'm at Dick's in Deer Park exchanging a golf club and a guy checks out with 3 boxes of 22 LR with his name on one of the boxes. I go back to the ammo counter, and they had 3 more bricks (525 rounds) of hollow points left. I bought 2, so that at least one lucky guy would get the last box. BTW, $22.49 a box. Seemed very reasonable, but they are limiting purchasers to 3 boxes of anything.

Comfortably Numb

600 ROUNDS CCI 22LR - Cabellas $8.99/box. Finally something really reasonable. Last six boxes they had and surprised they sold me six at the register (3 for me and 3 for the misses). It'll all be gone tomorrow like a brick of firecrackers on the 4th of July.

I just acquired some older boxes of ammo and included was about 75 rounds of factory. 32 s&w longs...I don't have any use for these, anyone here interested before I put it on armslist?

Its been tough to get stuff at reasonable prices..... luckily I have been able to continue to get ammo at pre-panic pricing the last couple of times I ordered. Im currently waiting on another 1000rds of 5.56/.223, another 500rds. of 9mm and 250rds. of .45ACP

Ive got a **** ton of the 5.56/.223 but I shoot alot of it, I will go through 1200 rounds of it in May alone with shooting match and taking a defensive rifle class..... Im also pretty well stocked on 9 and 45 but I continue to stock it as I can get it.

Any of you guys who own AR's, AK's FAL's etc..... we have a great event/match at our club: Aurora Sportsmans Club called Practical Rifle on the 3rd Saturday of every month.... if you are interested check out our site at www.aurorasc.org
The event is a great way to get your rifle off the bench or out of the safe and put it through the paces.... whether you want to simply brush up on your skill or be competitive its a great way to do it.
