Default Clear bra (Illinois)

Just recently had a "clear bra" put on the front of my 08 C6. Makes the driving experience more enjoyable not worrying about a rock chip.

The company was BODY SKINS INC. out of Elgin, Illinois. The owner Richard Anstadt did the work personally and very surgically. Could not of asked for a nicer job. (No pics because you can't see it!) He uses the best 3M film on the market (XPEL) it is 8.3MM thick and self healing. Rich will come to your house if you live in northern Illinois area. Call him if interested! 847.697.4992

Also will discount price if you pay in cash.

Rick is a great installer. I have met him personally and have seen his work first hand. He is also VERY reasonable on his prices. I have been installing film for 10 years now and would highly recomend anyone in that area to go with him. Byt the way Xpel is not a 3M film. 3M is a different company all together but happy to see he is using Xpel Ultimate now.

Default XPEL Film correction-

By the way Xpel is not a 3M film. 3M is a different company all together but happy to see he is using Xpel Ultimate now.

Thanks for the correction!

I have the 3M stuff on my car and yes, it does protect the car very well. The XPEL material does sound interesting though.

Rick has done 3 of my cars, highly recommended and a stand up guy!
He did my 06 GTO which is sold, my current 08 daily driver TL, and my 2010 Grand Sport.

My TL front end looks like new at 60k hard IL miles.
The Grand Sport can take as many bugs smashed into it as the corn fields I live out in can dish out. Easy to clean the vette front and now worries of paint damage.

Rick has done two of my cars and the XPEL film he is now using is really good. Much better IMO than film from just a few years ago. He deserves every rec tossed his way.
