Wow...I know there aren't many Vettes roaming the roads of the Upper Peninsula, but I thought there would be at least a couple of them on this forum...

Used to do a lot of goose hunting in Houghton. Stayed at either Rice Lake or Dreamland. Will have to visit again someday.

My Mom and Dad live in Boulder Junction, WI. I've had the vette out on Highway 2 a few times going over to Iron Mountain and wow can you carry alot of speed on that road but watchout for the wildlife. But nothing beats jumping on the sled hitting the old railroad beds up their!!! Just make sure you have a full tank of gas when you do so. Ask me how I know.

Sorry don't live up there. Was a Novi resident for 35 years now live outside Traverse City near Beulah MI.
Love the UP, hunted and vacationed a lot around Trout Lake and have visited or traveled through most of that beautiful peninsula over the years. Will be on the roads up there sometime this summer too.

I wish I lived up there! God's country is an understatement. We go up every year to Copper Harbor for a couple weeks. Never get to take the Vette because wife and kids come along. It's my kids favorite place to go!

Watching out for the wildlife is a must. I have seen a bear crossing the road on that stretch.
I went to school up here and am here on work assignment through the end of the summer. Always up for a beer if any of you ever make it to town...
