Downtown Palatine Sunday Car Shows
This is in the parking lot of Dobby's World Wide Liquors and Artistic Cuisine. I know a couple of the business owners involved.

I always thought that would be a great area for a cruise night.
Passed by this morning and the lot in question looks fine. Still some construction in the area but it seems the end is in sight.

The construction should end soon and the parking lot was just re-paved last week.
It should be a good venue with several places within walking distance to grab food or a beer.

What month does this end (end of August)?
They were passing out that exact flyer and I was given one at Elmhurst cruise night tonight!

I'm going to charge $3 to watch your car while Frank guides you on a walking () tour of scenic downtown Palatine! 
The article and Franks OP states till "October 30" Jimmy, so be prepared to put snow tires on the Big Mean Green Machine!
"Organizers envision between 30 and 42 classic cars will be on display... though staff will re-evaluate the event after a couple weeks."
I betcha they re-evaluate after week one!
Looks like justamericanmusclecars website is not up yet, I wonder if these are the same guys that where selling cars across the street from me at Weber a year or so ago???

They used to be on Helen Rd just west of Hicks. Now they are located down the street from me on W. Wood St. I have been in there and they have some nice cars.
