This is easily one of the coolest events that I've been to. I would suggest everyone make one stop, or at least find the route they are going to take closest to you and sit along side the highway and watch them pass by.

I've been doing the Power Tour "Long Haul" every year since 2003.
It's the best vacation any car guy/gal can have!
Oh yeah, I'll be there again this year from start to finish.
I'll be in my LT4 and another Missourian "RetiredSFC 97" will be there in in C5 FRC for part of the trip.
We'll be leaving Missouri headed to FL on June 2.
A lot of guys are only able to make one of the stops.
But your really missing out if you don't do at least one of the driving days between stops.
That is where all the fun is.

1st time in for the long haul
Since it starts so close to home, we decided to go for the long haul. This will be our first. We'll be going in the '71 BB Vette so we'll be making lots of gas stops and packing light.
We're about 150 miles NW of Cocoa Beach. We're going to cruise down Cocoa on Saturday, go through registration and spend a couple of hours. Then we'll cruise back home. That way we can leave non-essential goodie bag items at home and start with clean laundry and have a short trip to SGMP.
We'd love to meet up with any other forum members. Just look for the black Vette with big flares.
