Yea, and if anyone wants to start a war of words over which is more important, Engineering/Design vs. Manufacturing count me in on the Engineering (here in Michigan---home of the Corvette!!) side of the argument.

A quick shout out from Monroe MI.....I do need to find some vette gatherings this summer instead of just driving around aimlessly, even though it's highly enjoyable with the top down.

I'm in Farmington Hills. The self-proclaimed capital of the Bestside.
PD here as well (though I work for the blue oval boys).
Woah! Look who crawled out from under a rock. How's it going Bill?

Hey Matt
Life is good. My wife and I have adopted twice over the past several years and are now kept busy with a 2 year old and a 1 year old.
Still have both Vette's, and I have actually been known to drive them on occasion
One of these days I WILL get out to one of the gatherings.

Also, ran the Chassis Corrosion group and did surveys all over the rustbelt. Stood under a dripping chassis in jeans and T shirt one day, and would report to the Chief Engineer the next wearing suit and tie. Also, put in 10 years in Chassis Fastener Engineering where I learned a helluva lot about nuts and bolts, assembly, etc. Made lots of friends including many GM engineers over the years...we all exchanged information..there are no secrets in the auto industry (wink-wink). Oh, also took the buyout....kept my nose clean toward the end to make sure I got an offer...my mama didn't raise no dummy! haha!
