Just curious how long you guys wait to take your car out of storage (for those of you who don't ever start it up when it's in storage)?
It's getting warm(er) out up here in NW Ohio and I'm thinking about getting my car out of the garage around the first week of april cause I'm getting ancy.
The only reason I even stored it in the first place was to keep the salt off and cause roads absolutely suck in the winter (read: potholes).
So any input? When do you all take the cover off for the season!?!?
Took it to the office today. Not at maximum grip at 46 degrees outside but still fun!

Took the cover off last Thursday and drove it home. Roads were dry, sky cloudy, and salt is off the roads. 60's this weekend and it was great riding. Just stay on the main roads for now to avoid potholes.

Soon as the weather breaks and so far in Chicago it broke about 1 week ago and hope it stays that way!

man, that's weak. I used to live in chicago but no longer!
Yeah, I hear NW Ohio weather is a lot like Phoenix in the winter.
It's not going to snow. It's going to be 58 tomorrow. We got less snow this winter than Baltimore, Washington DC and New York. Hell, Dallas got 12" of snow a month ago. It's still mid-March for Christs sake.
Tomorrow (3/16/10) the cover and battery tender come off, exactly 4 months to the day it went into storage. Can't wait to see what the tire pressures are! Note to self, call insurance agent to advise that the car is back in sevice.
Never. It could get wrecked, stolen, breathed on wrong....
You should just drive the old C1 and C2 in the winter. Now the C5's. Those are the rare ones that should be treated like museum pieces. They should never leave the garage.

I usually do drive the 60 in the winter. In Arizona.....
