I was in a mood to get some new pics of my pride & joy today before the crappy weather arrives.

I hope you like them.

Red Mills on Sugar Creek in Shelby County.

At Boggstown Cabaret.

A friendly farmer from Boggstown let me get in place for this shot as he was unloading corn from his field.

Crossing an iron bridge over Sugar Creek.

At church.

Horse power.

Kacey's Eatery in Whiteland. (I swear, that kid had a straight face before I pulled in.)

John - I recognize a few of them. I grew up in the London/Fairland area in the late '50s/and '60s. Fished off the dam next to Red Mills many times and used to get a coke inside. Fred Garver, who ran the mill, was a great guy and his son, attorney/lobbyist Freddie, built a huge house behind the property where I believe he still lives. Spent many a summer in Walnut Grove (on the other side of the bridge) swimming in Sugar Creek and generally screwing off. Nice pics.

Those sound like good memories.
One time a friend and I started a boat trip from the bridge close to Red Mills and went all the way to hi-way 144. We actually had e beaver jump from a leaning tree, between us in the boat, into the water.

I also went to a turkey shoot at Walnut Grove and camped there.

Thanks for sharing.
