OH car events / races?

I am going to travel to OH next year and am wanting to schedule my trip around some car event, corvette or not... a big event, ie the "GS nationals" in bowling green, KY... right next door... I had a Grand National previously, so that's the only event I know in the area... Any ideas? Time of year? Definitely after april... http://www.gsnationals.com/ tks

many clubs wait until Feb-March to set that years dates; but Mid-Ohio usually gets next years schedule up quick:

As far as events go, I would suggest the Corvette Gathering held in Lancaster which is located a few minutes south of Columbus. You'll be able to join hundreds of other Vette owners in a nice setting with lots of friendly folks around. Its scheduled for July 18, 2010. You might also want to look at the United Manual Transmission Racers website for their 2010 schedule.As the name implies,it's all stick cars dragracing.They have a north division and a south division.Both race in Ohio.
