Default Busse Woods Picnic Pics and Thanks to all who came

I uploaded all of my pics here: http://fdemartino.smugmug.com/galler...62769525_SiyqE

Please add your pics to this thread.

Despite the awful weather at the start of the day, it turned out to be a beautiful day. I think at its peak we had 51 Vettes there at the same time and probably over 60 for the day.

Thumbs up to those who drove their Vettes in the rain to get there, even if they couldn't get maximum enjoyment out of the ride. Just having all of the Vettes there together was enjoyment enough for me. Special credit goes to the W. Michigan Crew for toughing out the weather on their long ride despite losing a member to car trouble.

And a huge thanks to Jason from Jason's Auto Spa for sponsoring the event and going above and beyond by providing all of the food and soft drinks.

It was a great day, met a lot of new people, hung out with a lot of old friends and can't wait until the next one.

Nice time today, and I did get a little "maximum enjoyment" out of my car on the way home.

Was a great time , weather really turned around and it was a great day.

Nice to see everyone and meet some new faces

89vert, sorry for your troubles man that sucks..I was talking to one of the guys in your crew and he was telling us what happened. You didnt drop a valve or anying? Nothing bent? Hopefully not. Interesting that it broke...I assume your LS1 is stock? YOu almost never hear of that stuff breaking..

Keep us posted and good luck with the fix.

The heads are 04 LS6 heads and it looks like they are double springs. It doesn't look like the valve is bent or droped a valve.

I'll be getting a bore scope to check things out.

I really blew it today by going to the Higgins Road Busse Woods entrance and not consulting the thread to see that it was off of Golf. Sorry that I did not get to attend the fun because I really wanted to support the event with the expense that Jason invested and the time and efforts from Frank for organizing the event. Once again, sorry that my stupidity made me miss out on a great event.

Great to see all the familiar faces and new one as well. Nice turnout especially considering the day started out crappy.

Thanks Jason for sponsoring with the food and drink. BTW, your trailer is awesome. You did it right and in a first class manner. I'm confident you'll see more business opportunities.

Thanks Pfrank, Johnny and everyone else involved with planning this event. Great job weel done!

Now back to getting mine on the road.

Wow, what a great time today
First, I have to thank Jason for everything he did and brought to this party
Second, Thanks to Pfrank for all the planning and getting this whole thing started
Third, a big thank you to the Chicago crew for always making us feel at home
The WMC always has a good time whenever we get together with you guys I think we should try to get together every year someplace

Thank you to everybody for making this event happen

Had a great time meeting and talking with all you folks. Lots of fun.

PFrank and Jason did a great job. Thanks for all the hard work guys.

So glad the weather finally cleared. Had me worried on the way up.

Heck, even won me a new detailin' toy.

Thanks also to Jason Blue Boost for the wheels. Will be posting pics of them after I am done moddin' em.
