Still sending my thoughts and prayers out to Ryan, his family and friends. Really pulling for the miracle, but if it is not to be, it's because God has another plan for Ryan.

i will be there as much as i can through this time with ryan, but i cannot express in words how hard this whole experience has been. then again i cannot even come close to the things that ryan has faced, that is why he is my hero. i will let him know that he is in everyone's thoughts and prayers.

I am so saddened by reading the updates. I lost my mother 3 months ago and it has brought me back to where we were in the last month. The hardest part is the deterioration, watching it happen and the feelings of helplessness. You must not lose your faith!! I can't stress this enough. I pray for not only Ryan, but for your continued strength and courage as well. Be strong!

Mike I understand the being pissed part very well. Im going back to my own recent loss and I dont get and wish there were more answers why GOOD people who have touched so many have to go too soon.
Thank you for watching over our Buddy and updating us. May Peace be with Ryan and I still have not given up on that Miracle.

Jason Chimera and Manny Malhotra from the CBJ's stopped by. Very nice guys and they love Ryan. Both of Ryans close childhood friends were there, his father Brad and his wife Susan, his grandfather, a couple close family friends, Mark and myself.

I guess I'm more pissed off than sad right now. This might be the most unfair, unjust situation I have been involved with.

I hope the end for him is painless and he is surrounded by his family and his friends. Love you buddy, thanks for the fun times and more importantly thanks for opening my eyes. I need to believe you are needed for a higher purpose.

I just left the hospital. Not much new to report. Ryan's vitals are strong but he's been in a great deal of pain all night. They are trying to get the pain medication set correctly. Brad and Susan are hanging in. Brad has told Ryan it's ok to let go. Keep praying for the pain to stop.

damn damn damn
Even with all the pain he has suffered lately Ryan never ceases to amaze us with his STRENGTH.
Selfishly we don't want him to go but no one wants to see him suffer. How hard for Brad to tell him its OK now.
His Family demonstrates where he gets his strength from. God Bless you all and praying for the pain to cease

Just texted with Brad. Like Mark mentioned a few posts ago, Ryan was in much pain last night. He is about to be heavily sedated. I am going down in an hour.

My thoughts are with Ryan and the family, may he be at peace and I am a much better person for being part of his life. We all must not forget why we are here.

I am at the hospital. Ryan's pain level is tremendous, he has said he is ready to go. They are going to sedate him and he won't wake up again.

He fought an amazing fight. I got to say goodbye.

They asked Ryan if he was cognizant enough to understand what it means if he goes to sleep. He said, "my name is Ryan Salmons and I will sign on the dotted line if need be." They asked if he knew where he was going and he said, "I'm going to heaven, I'm driving my Corvette and parking it right at the front gate."
