When is first Friday night cruise night in Rolling Meadows-April 17 or 24?
Hard to believe but the Rolling Meadows cruise nights at their new location on Kirchoff Road (same location where they held it several years ago) starts up this month in April, and can anyone confirm if the first official cruise night at Rolling Meadows starts on Friday April 17 or April 24? I though it was the 17th of April but not certain.
First friday that this opens up that is 60 degrees, and dry out, I will be there in my newest toy (my Monster 555ci 71 Prostreet Camaro)!
At least my newest toy is GM vehicle and not a Green MOPAR!

Thanks Frank, what is the biggest business located in the new parking lot location (a Dominicks if my memory serves me right)?
I definitely recall there being a subway in the s/w corner of the lot!

Yes that makes sense, I would imagine subway is still there (but who knows in this economy)!
What I like much better about the old location (last year) is that we had places like Ginos Pizza to go to for Pizza and beer, while our cars were still parked in the cruise night parking lot, or when we got caught in a massive downpour (like last year when Steve Bolgona came onto the scene)!
It really is a pretty run down shopping center. Like Tommy said, there's Taco Bell, a paint and blind store, Mr. Taco or something like that and a couple other stores.

Yeah that sucks but what the fr uck you gonna do (beats having no more Friday Night Rolling Meadow get togethers)!
When a Subway closes down you know things are bad!

More heavy traffic issues for me also but guess that means instead of leaving at 3PM like last year I will have to leave at 2:30 to be the first one there!
That being said I really prefer the old location especially with the restaurants right there, etc., but what the fu ck you gonna do?
There's always Downer's Grove which you know I REALLY ENJOY but that is a real ball buster for you to get to and parking is a bitch if you don't get there by 4:30!
