official start is 1pm; though many arrive between 12:00 to 12:30.
Road Tour leaves at 2pm, arrives back sometime around 3:30 to 4:00'ish. Then if you have the time, hang around a bit and consume the food/beverages and talk Corvettes.

Tim,
Thanks for letting us know about that- my father and I had a really good time with the wives and will be back again next year!
I was really surprised at some of those turns in the hills... very fun, thats what these cars were made for.
Thanks to restoration station for organizing and hosting- top notch outfit there- from some of their projects going on in their shop they apparently know what they are doing as those cars looked as good if not better than the day they came from the factory according to my dad who had a 67 brand new.
I had the quicksilver Z06 there with the non-chrome wheels- probably the dirtiest car present as the wife had other duties for me on saturday that didn't involve cleaning the car ;-)
Tim- what did you do to your backup lights ot make them flash like that?

full-bore Whelen Police strobe system:
two in the rear (as you saw) and each front corner has one. They are additional bulbs, with their own supply & controller.
so bright at night that you can't look straight-at-them
If I ever get caught operating them on a public street... they'll probably impound the vehicle

I have a few pics; and a lot of video (obviously). But due to a major project at home, it'll take me awhile to edit and upload the video. Maybe I can get the still pics posted by this weekend.
I had 151 Corvettes drive through the covered bridge; add one more for my Corvette that wasn't in the video; total of 152. I talked to Jeff yesterday and he was told a person counted the cars leaving his shop for the Road Tour and that count was 157; he hasn't had time to sort through the registration slips yet.
Someone mentioned there was another Corvette gathering "somewhere in the area" that was on the same day. I noticed the northern Kentucky group was missing from the event.
