Over a week after the storm we still have neighbors and family with no power in Cincinnati. Never seen anything like this one. Thank God we haven't had a drop of rain since the storm, as we have neighbors with missing shingles and trees through the roof.

I survived fairly well in Fairborn. I lost about a dozen shingles on the roof of my house and about a quarter of the shingles on my storage shed. We were one of the lucky ones who had our power restored quickly - we were only out from 5:30pm Sunday until 2:30am Monday.
My parents live near Kettering Hospital and they did not do as well. The lost about 6 big branches as well a tree that is so badly damaged that it will need to be cut down soon. The utility pole in their backyard broke, leaving the transformer sitting in the yard. The still do not have power 9 days later.

We won't make that one. On Saturday we will be near Talladega preparing to go to the race on Sunday. Won't be home 'till late Monday.

here ya go,i guess duke energy wasn't concerned about the tree on my power line's until they turned the power back on and 5 minute's i heard a bang and the back yard was on fire and at 5 o clock in the morning all i could do was worry about getting my car out of the garage before it caught on fire
